St. Patrick's Day Party Invitation Idea

I may be a little old fashioned, but when planning a party with friends, I think that sending a paper invitation to your guests adds a really nice touch to your party.

We are holding a cards and games kind of get together, so I created an invite that has the feel of a playing card.

I first created the card template on my computer and then printed it on these card that I got from Michael's.

Finally, I created these middle clovers on a scalloped background using scrapbook paper, and put small sticker shamrocks in the corners of the card.

What kind of party will you be hosting this year?

St. Patrick's Day Hostess Apron

Today begins our St. Patrick's Day Party Theme - over the course of the next 7 days, I will reveal TONS of tips, tricks, recipes, and crafts for your St. Patrick's Day Party. My husband and I are planning a card party with our friends for next weekend and will post pictures of the final project on Sunday!

Today I would like to showcase an apron I created in the St. Patrick's Day theme - Green and Orange! I absolutely adore it! Be sure to stop into our Etsy site to check out more of our hostess aprons. I will post this one on Etsy tomorrow morning in case any of you would like to purchase the one I made!

What do you think? I would simply wear this with a white t-shirt, jeans, and a mini leprechaun hat for my party outfit!

Have a great night!

Going Glam Full-Time

Hello Glam Fans!

Today I am super excited to announce that I have decided to make a crazy career change for my life... I have left my full-time corporate job to pursue this business as my full time career! My last day at my corporate job was Friday, and now I am SO excited to get to work on The Glam Finale/Kitchen Glam full time!

So for my post today, I have decided to simply outline my plans for this blog from now on. I am going to try my hardest to get on here everyday and post something cute, creative, and relevant for all of our fans. I will be slightly changing the weekly post layouts and will have a different topic for each day of the week:

Sundays = Party Planning
Mondays = New Products/Colors/Fabrics/Etc from Us!
Tuesdays = Organization
Wednesdays = Kitchen Glam/The Glam Finale Events and Promotions
Thursdays = Recipes
Fridays = Crafting
Saturdays = Gardening/Plants

So now you'll know a little of what to expect week to week!

Today, I am going a little out of the box and sharing a project that I threw together today in celebration of going Glam full-time: a spring inspired Idea Cork Board. I simply covered the board with scrapbook paper, ribbon, and embellishments.

Feeling the bad weather blues? Here is something super fun to do indoors that will get you excited for the upcoming summer... an Indoor Picnic Date!

My husband and I decorated our dining table like a picnic blanket, cooked up some easy and delicious recipes, and sipped wine at dinner tonight while we talked about our days and the summer to come. We are certainly feeling excited for the warmer weather to arrive in the months to come!

Check out some of these pictures from our date night tonight!

Of course... no picnic is complete without an adorable picnic themed apron! Love this one? You can buy it on our Etsy website by clicking here!

We hope you all have a warm and cozy night!

Ways to Stay Warm: Hot Cocoa Party

Now that everyone has some amazing Hot Cocoa recipes, take a look at all of these wonderful ideas for putting on a Hot Cocoa Party! I can't wait to take some of these ideas and throw a Hot Cocoa Party myself! (Pictures will definitely come after we have one! Maybe a Girls Hot Cocoa Party this weekend?)

Here are two Hot Cocoa Bar ideas! One a little more rustic and the other with some adorable labels to use on your own cocoa display!

How about a hanging Marshmallow centerpiece for your table!

These dipping sticks have chocolate flavors for you to stir around in steamed/warmed milk to make some deliciously flavored hot chocolate. I think they are such a great idea!

Or how about some marshmallow dippers as snacks?

And here is a fun activity to have for your party members! Maybe give each of your guests a shot glass full of different hot cocoa flavors? I love the idea!

I don't know about any of you... but I can't wait to host a Hot Cocoa Party! Definite Girl's Night this weekend!
