Pillowcase Romper

There are so many people out there making “pillowcase” dresses and they are such adorable little dresses. I want to be a little different though. So I spent way to much time on etsy (I call it research!) and finally found this “pillowcase” romper pattern.

I made a test sample last night. It turned out SO CUTE!

This one is a size 12-18 months. It has elastic at the neckline….that way you can tie it up exactly how you want it and then just pull it on and off. Since this one is for a baby, it also has a snap closure at the crotch for diaper changing.

New Direction

Time to get this blog going again!

As you can probably tell, my writer/daughter hasn’t been posting lately. She has moved on to her first full-time job at Lifetime Fitness…yay… and… boo at the same time. I’m going to miss having her around but I’m glad that she is out in the work force doing something she loves. Now I’m left to do the blogging myself. I’ll do my best to keep it interesting and informative. Krystal will still be working with me, but on a very limited basis.

Our first little bit of news is our shift in direction and the addition of a new line. We are going back to my true passion…..children’s clothing!! Don’t worry! I won’t be abandoning my aprons altogether but it will no longer be the focus. Here is a sneak peak of my initial concepts for the children’s line.

This is a cute little swing top with wide-legged ruffle pants. I am planning on adding a peasant blouse to go under this swing top.

Wide sleeved peasant top with knit ruffle leggings.

Reversible pinafore with ruffle bottom diaper cover.

This is one of my new tunic and legging sets. The whole outfit is made from recycled t-shirts!!
